Welcome to WYB Rec T-ball! This league is open to players who will be finishing Pre-K and K for the 2022-23 school year (ages 4-6).

Teams will consist of about 8 players depending on the size of registration and players will typically field the infield only. One practice and one game per week guaranteed with the option of adding more time if warranted.

Games start May 27th on Saturdays. The season is scheduled to end by July 1st.

Game Start Time Information: Saturday game start times are between 9:00 AM & 3:00 PM.

Rainouts & Rescheduling: Rainouts may be rescheduled throughout the season.

Jersey Information: All players will receive a team softball jersey for league play. Softball pants are required to be worn at the Junior and Senior level.

Equipment: Softballs are provided by WYB. Each girl should have their own batting helmet. WYB does have batting helmets that could be loaned out to players or teams if needed.

Players are required to wear the WYB Softball game jersey and must wear a glove in the field. T-ball participants may play in tennis shoes or cleats. Softball pants are optional (gray, white, or black). WYB encourages the sharing of bats to those who may not have one. These items are not provided by WYB and are not included in the registration fee.

Coaches Needed: Worthington Youth Boosters is a volunteer organization of parents providing sports programs for kids. If you are able and willing to serve as the head or assistant coach of your child's team, please register online.

Coaches' Clinic: The WYB Rec Softball Coaches' Clinic will be held on March 26th from 1-3pm at the Thomas Worthington High School Aux Gym. All coaches are required to attend. The clinic is scheduled to last 60 to 90 minutes. The clinic will be hosted by the Thomas Worthington and Kilbourne varsity coaches. Even if you are just considering coaching or being an assistant, please feel free attend the clinic.

Seniors: Sunday, April 16, 6:00 PM to 6:45 PM @TBD

Team Notification: Families will be notified of their team placement by mid May.
