WYB Gymnastics will be holding try-outs for our 2023/24 Competitive Team on May 10th at 5:30pm and on May 16th at 5:30pm. Try-outs last approximately 1-1.5 hours, depending on the number of participants. Advanced registration is required (please select one date only), along with a $15 non-refundable online payment. Space on the team is extremely limited. Decisions will be communicated to all try-out participants mid to end of May. The WYB Gymnastics Team is for girls ages 5 and up who are interested in taking their gymnastics to the competitive level, but not quite as involved, costly, or as time consuming as a USAG team. We follow the Xcel Program, with gymnasts training and competing at the Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum levels.

Gymnasts who are selected to join the team are required to make a year-long commitment from June 1, 2023 - May 31, 2024. Bronze/Silver/Gold gymnasts have the option each month to practice once or twice per week, with tuition ranging from $100 to $205/mo. Platinum gymnasts practice 2-3 times per week, with tuition ranging from $210-$290/mo. (Please note that these rates reflect the current season but are subject to increase for the 2023/24 season.) In addition to regular weekly practices, gymnasts will participate in 3-8 meets per year, on average, with meets being held at various gyms throughout the Columbus area, as well as within a 1-2 hour drive of Columbus. In addition to monthly tuition, which is paid via an auto-payment plan, separate fees are required for: each meet (roughly $55-$85/meet), a team leotard (approximately $75), and an annual team fee of approximately $100. Team families are also expected to participate in fundraising events throughout the year.
